Began looking at terms today from 1607-1763. Tried to figure out how much they remembered from last year, and loved the class interaction.
I will be posting the Mayflower discussion questions this weekend. I love teaching AP US History.
I will be using this blog in my American History class, The class covers American history from 1492-1900.

New Goal for Next Year find more invotative ways to make history fun
I think at the end of each teaching year: How can I improve my teaching methods? Next year my goal is to use more technology in my teaching. I want to get the students excited about learning, and I have decided to start using blogging with discussion questions for their homework. In my county we usually have 20 snow days a year. If the students can have access to my blog, they can leave comments to the discussion questions. By using blogging I will be using an e-learning tool that more 21st century compared to the 20th century textbook learning only.

Getting ready to design class blog
Okay, this is my first time using a blog. I had to design a PowerPoint on blogs for a graduate class, and I have decided to use the blog to teach my AP US History Class Spring 2010. I really love teaching AP US History. Teaching this class requires me to challenge myself and my students.
